MAKHACHKALA, July 21 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestan combined 3D archery team claimed overall first place at the Russian Championship held July 15–20 in Muzhichi, Ingushetia, securing 15 medals despite challenging forest terrain and rainy conditions.
Under head coach Dzhamal Makhtibekov, the team outperformed 221 athletes from 27 regions to win team golds through Garun Saidov (compound), Shakhmir Gebedov (barebow), Magomedarif Mirzaev (longbow) and open team victories by Elmurza Gadzhiev, Askhab Barkalov, and Gaziyav Aliyev.
Mixed team honors included silver for Mirzaev and Zarema Ubardinova (longbow) and bronze for Omar Ramazanov/Dzhamilya Budunova (composite) and Magomedamin Rasulov (barebow).
Individually, Rasulov (barebow) and Mirzaev (longbow) became Russian champions, while Zamir Dalgatov took silver and Sakhuratula Magomedov, Shamil Khasbulatov and Rashitbek Isaev won bronze.
