MAKHACHKALA, March 5 – RIA "Dagestan". During a meeting to review the activities of the territorial subsystem of the Russian System for Civil Defense and Emergency Response at the situational center in Makhachkala, Nariman Kazimagamedov, Head of the regional Emergency Situations Ministry of Dagestan, announced the establishment of a drone training class at the Educational and Methodological Center.
In 2025, the center provided civil defense and emergency protection training to 2,452 individuals across various categories—95% of the planned target of 2,587. The curriculum includes instruction on protective actions for the population in the event of drone attack threats.
With support of Chairman of Dagestani Government Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, work has commenced on equipping and launching the specialized drone class. Kazimagamedov noted that, in response to requests from various organizations, the center specialists conducted 14 on-site training sessions during the reporting period.
