MAKHACHKALA, May 25 – RIA Dagestan. The legal status of lands used for transhumance livestock farming was discussed at a meeting attended by Acting Head of Dagestan Fedor Shchukin, Prime Minister Magomed Ramazanov and business community representatives.
"The situation with transhumance livestock lands is highly significant. Consolidation of society is important, so that the public accepts a 'roadmap'—a plan outlining our path forward," Ramazanov said. "We are a multinational republic, so a unified position is essential. I have ideas on how to approach this, but any solution must be acceptable to our population. It is important not to delay action on this".
The Prime Minister confirmed that he and Acting Head Shchukin have discussed this subject and placed it on their priority agenda, with work underway to develop a consolidated solution acceptable to Dagestan residents.
